As the Hospital Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards
- Supporting and liaising with Visiting Medical Officers, Hospital Executive, and the respective Nurse Unit Managers of wards and departments
- Ensuring all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficient
- Coordinating patient admissions/discharges/transfers
- Oversee the safety of all patients and hospital staff
- Provides overarching management to the hospital after hours
Essential Criteria:
- 5 years of Registered Nursing Mental Health experience in an acute setting
- Recent inpatient mental health management experience at ANUM level or higher
- Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members
- Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios
- Post Graduate Qualification in a mental health related discipline or management (desired)
- Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired)
